3 Goal that I want to achieve this year.

I have a lot of goals but I'll break them down to the 3 most important school related goals. My first goal is to have all A's in my class I know it's a bit basic but honestly it's something important to me because I really haven't had a high school year where I had perfect grade. I was always dropping into the B's but this school year I want to stay all A's. My second goal is to have great attendance. For me this goal is a bit difficult and more personal since last school year my attendance was abysmal I was often absent or skipping mostly due to oversleeping or not liking my teachers. So I plan to not miss at least a week's worth of school per semester. Obviously perfect attendance would be amazing but I often have things to do that take priority over school. My third and last goal is having no missing work. It goes hand in hand with my first goal. I will have absolutely 0 missing assignments.

 This is the kind of question I get asked on my job applications. I think no one is the exact same as someone else so just being me makes me different but something noticeably different about me is how I approach situations and deal with conversations. When i'm asked a question I never rush to answer I will pause for a couple of seconds think about the question and think about what i'm going to say before I eventually answer the questions. I think this lead to me not saying things I don't mean. We went through everyone who didn't finish the previous day and overall the day was completed with them talking about there storys. I heard one of the stories and it was really in depth and made me think about how my story could improve.

Senegal is the country my parents were born in. By sheer coincidence 2 people born in Senegal meet each other in the US and have a son. So that makes Senegal a really important place for me because my family from both sides live there. Whenever I visit it feel right at home. It really means so much to me to the point that I love it more than the US the country of my birth. Whenever some ask's if I'm African American, I make sure to specify Senegalese American because that's just how much that place means to me how much my heritage means to me. I wasn't here on Tuesday so I can't summarize what we did in class or mention what I learned that day.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response:   When I was in Dakar, Senegal I went up the stairs of the Monument Of Renaissance I was so high up the breeze hit my entire body. I felt so good watching the sunrise hear the birds chirp. At that moment I truly felt connected with nature. I can vividly remember the smell of the breeze it was like grass. As well as the mosquitoes waiting for me on my way down. Summary:  This lesson we discussed Native American literature. We talked about themes they used as well as how stories were passed down. They often reference themes in relation to the nature and their environment. Stories were transmitted orally so it could often be changed.   Reflection:   I learned about the themes used in Native American literature. Also I didn't know they didn't like being called Native American's. The fact that they use themes involving nature really connected with me because I love nature.
